Considering New Construction in the Raleigh Durham area?

1. Do you need a realtor in a new construction sale? YES! You still need a real estate agent that represents you. You need an agent who’s competent and can both save you time and money.
2. Remember onsite agents do not have your best interest in mind. They’re working for the builder and they’re representing the builder’s interests, not yours.
3. The design center and upgrades are a huge money maker for builders. And believe it or not, you can do many of these upgrades yourself for a fraction of the cost after closing.
4. Remember, contracts are not always simple and straight forward. Be sure you’re working with an agent to help you read through the contract and know what you’re signing.
